Reporting to the Controller, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.</p><p><br></p><p>The Junior Accountant will collaborate closely with other members of the finance team to maintain financial records, analyze data, and support overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles and practices, a positive outlook, and strong communication skills.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, payment preparation, vendor reconciliations, and issue resolution.</li><li>Support project-related Accounts Payable activities by tracking project expenses, coding invoices to the appropriate projects and cost centres, and ensuring accurate cost allocation.</li><li>Prepare bank and corporate credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.</li><li>Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end and year-end close activities.</li><li>Reconcile general ledger accounts, support audits and tax reporting, maintain accurate financial records, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of accounting or Accounts Payable experience in a multi-entity environment (would consider someone strong from single entity) - this is not high volume but it is complex invoices, some may need to be coded to 30 projects - need to be very organized</li><li>Experience with ERP Systems and Excel Pivot tables and V Lookups</li><li>Strong communication skills and personable they will be communicating with internal external parties daily</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines</li></ul><p>If this sounds like the role for you, please apply today!
