The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into HR solutions. This position demands strong business acumen, excellent consulting and influencing skills, and a deep understanding of HR practices. Typically, 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with specific HRBP or senior generalist experience, is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is essential, with a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation highly preferred. A comprehensive understanding of Canadian employment law and industry-specific HR challenges is crucial.
