Video editors create polished video by editing raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. These professionals may need to work closely with a director to achieve the desired vision. Solid experience using video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X and Media Composer, is required. Some employers may also seek candidates with relevant experience in other areas of production or post-production.
