Hedge Fund Accounting Manager Job Description

Hedge fund accountant managers should have at least five years of prior work history in investment accounting, product controller work, auditing, accounts payable/accounts receivable or budgeting and experience with various financial products. Proven leadership and supervisory skills, strong verbal and writing abilities, analytical expertise, and proficiency with Excel are highly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required, and a master’s degree in business administration is a plus.
