Credentialing Specialist Job Description

Under supervision, coordinates the credentialing procedure by compiling and processing applications in compliance with federal, state and regional requirements. Ensures consistent documentation and accuracy of physicians’ credentials. Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology required. Those with Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) designation are preferred.
