Candidates for cable/computer technicians are responsible for implementing and maintaining cabling for an organization, including video surveillance, access systems, alarm systems, networks, and more. They need to be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Typical cable/computer technician duties:

Maintaining video surveillance, access control, door entry systems, fire alarm communicators, alarm systems and networks (radios, switches, routers and firewalls)

Installing new cable projects

Testing, modifying and fixing cable projects for issues that may arise
