KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Oversight and review of monthly NAVs (including creation and review of shadow NAVs) across a range of fund structures, including hedge funds and long-only strategies.</li><li>Ownership and management of all tax documentation including withholding tax processes and coordination of global tax requirements and management of fund tax compliance.</li><li>Act as primary contact with fund administrators, with responsibility for share class hedging and allocations, performance fee calculations and equalisation, and expense allocations and accruals.</li><li>Review and approval of fund expense budgets (AIFs and UCITS)</li><li>Coordination of annual audits and ongoing liaison with auditors and tax advisors</li><li>Review of interim and annual financial statements</li><li>Support fund-related reporting for internal governance and Board reporting</li><li>Ownership of research cost accounting and reporting, including monthly accruals and reconciliations, broker payments, and annual costs and charges disclosures.</li><li>Support new fund launches and product developments</li><li>Act as a key partner to Operations and Investment teams on fund-related matters</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and controls</li><li>Drive automation and better use of systems, including AI and emerging technologies</li><li>Reduce manual processes and help build a more scalable operating model</li></ul> CANDIDATE PROFILE<ul><li>Proven experience in fund accounting with strong knowledge of alternative and long-only funds.</li><li>Previous UCITS equity funds experience</li><li>Experience working with third-party administrators</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Confident communicator, able to build relationships across teams and with external providers</li><li>Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused with the ability to work autonomously yet has the experience and judgement to understand when it is appropriate to escalate an issue</li><li>Comfortable working in a busy environment and taking ownership</li><li>Curious mindset with an interest in improving processes and using technology to drive efficiency</li><li>Ambition to develop and take on broader responsibility over time</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
