This is a hands-on position within a growing organisation, requiring a strong focus on professionalising financial processes and systems.</p><p data-start="511" data-end="537"><strong data-end="535" data-start="511">Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul data-start="538" data-end="1628"><li data-start="538" data-end="679"><p data-start="540" data-end="679">Oversee and deliver accurate, timely month-end and year-end management accounts, including all reports required by external stakeholders.</p></li><li data-start="680" data-end="770"><p data-start="682" data-end="770">Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to prepare reliable forecasts and budgets.</p></li><li data-start="866" data-end="949"><p data-start="868" data-end="949">Identify and communicate risks and opportunities affecting cashflow</p></li><li data-end="1069" data-start="950"><p data-start="952" data-end="1069">Drive improvements and professionalisation across the Finance function, including systems, controls, and processes.</p></li><li data-start="1070" data-end="1135"><p data-start="1072" data-end="1135">Manage the treasury function, including cashflow forecasting.</p></li><li data-start="1136" data-end="1232"><p data-start="1138" data-end="1232">Lead the statutory audit process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors.</p></li><li data-end="1359" data-start="1233"><p data-start="1235" data-end="1359">Oversee all tax compliance activities, including HMRC/statutory returns, computations, and coordination with tax advisors.</p></li><li data-start="1360" data-end="1450"><p data-end="1450" data-start="1362">Manage and develop a small team.</p></li><li data-start="1451" data-end="1521"><p data-end="1521" data-start="1453">Act as a strategic business partner to the Senior Management Team.</p></li><li data-end="1628" data-start="1522"><p data-end="1628" data-start="1524">Provide ad-hoc financial and strategic support to the CFO and CEO as required.</p></li></ul><p data-start="1630" data-end="1657"><strong data-start="1630" data-end="1655">Skills and Experience</strong></p><ul data-end="2026" data-start="1658"><li data-start="1658" data-end="1832"><p data-end="1832" data-start="1660">CCAB-qualified accountant with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience, gained either in a manufacturing environment or within a Big 4 (or equivalent) audit firm.</p></li><li data-start="1833" data-end="1919"><p data-end="1919" data-start="1835">Strong ability to challenge existing practices and introduce process improvements.</p></li><li data-start="1920" data-end="1963"><p data-start="1922" data-end="1963">Proven experience managing small teams.</p></li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
