<p style="text-align: justify;">Robert Half are working in exclusive partnership with an established and growing consultancy based in Oxford to recruit a Senior Finance Manager on a part-time basis (22.5 hours). This is a permanent position created due to internal promotion, a great opportunity to join an established firm in a role offering progression and development.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">This is as a part-time position (22.5 hours) with ownership as a senior leader and ability to grow in responsibility, you will come from a technical and controls background with an understanding of tax requirements and ability to provide leadership within a stable function.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The Senior Finance Manager position will be paying in the region of £80,000 to £85,000 per annum (full time equivalent, pro rata to 22.5 hours) with hybrid working (1-2 days on site) and a great prospect for future development. Other benefits include salary sacrifice pension, PMI, company bonus scheme.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Key responsibilities include</strong></p><ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Lead month end process for overall group and associated entities</li><li>Lead the year end close process ensuring robust controls and timely reporting alongside being key liaison with the auditors</li><li>Own and drive continuous improvement within financial reporting and controls processes</li><li>Preparation of statutory financial statements across the group and international entities</li><li>Oversee group tax return preparation and submission alongside managing external relationships</li><li>Key advisor to the business in areas of tax compliance and technical guidance, ensuring mitigation of risk and adherence to regulation</li><li>Act as a catalyst for finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, adoption of AI enablement and streamlining of business-as-usual areas</li><li>Leadership position within the finance function, deputising for the CFO and comfortable with a likely progression to direct team management</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>About your experience</strong></p><ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), this role would suit a candidate trained through practice but all prior experience considered</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Experience within partnership accounts, either gained in house or through practice audit/preparation is advantageous</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Ability to take ownership and responsibility of the accounting function, you will initially be seen as a Senior Leader with a likely route to direct team management</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Breadth of experience across statutory accounting and compliance, tax, treasury and reporting</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
