You will have genuine ownership of the tax function, with the opportunity to influence processes, identify efficiencies and play a key role in managing tax risk across the business.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p class="isSelectedEnd">Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for a broad range of tax activities across the UK, providing technical expertise and ensuring all reporting and compliance requirements are met.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">Key responsibilities will include:</p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Leading UK tax reporting, including VAT, Intrastat, Corporation Tax and relevant employee-related taxes</li><li>Preparing accurate and timely tax information for month-end, statutory and internal reporting</li><li>Managing transfer pricing documentation, including Local File requirements and reporting</li><li>Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, HMRC, external tax advisors and third-party providers</li><li>Monitoring changes in UK tax legislation and assessing their impact on the business</li><li>Supporting tax planning opportunities, including capital allowance optimisation and tax-efficient structures</li><li>Providing specialist tax input into new products, projects and business initiatives</li><li>Identifying opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and reporting</li><li>Supporting the development of the wider finance team and providing guidance to the Tax Accountant</li><li>Ensuring tax risks are identified, managed and appropriately reported</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><p class="isSelectedEnd">You will be a qualified finance or tax professional with strong technical knowledge and experience within <strong>financial services</strong>.
