You will take ownership of the month-end process, budget preparation, variance analysis, and operational forecasting while acting as a trusted finance business partner across departments. You be will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li>Need to own the month end process and produce the balance sheet reconciliations for borrowings, creditors, accruals</li><li>Process journals for accruals, interest and prepayments required for month end.</li><li>Lead monthly calls to explain movements against the latest forecasted results.</li><li>Need to own the month end process and produce the balance sheet reconciliations for inventory including ageing, bank reconciliations, inter company, debtors, prepayments, creditors, accruals.</li><li>Produce daily sales and weekly inventory reports.</li><li>Weekly stock reconciliations</li><li>Monthly VAT reconciliations</li><li>Annual tax submissions</li><li>Process journals for all areas of month end.</li><li>Lead monthly calls to explain movements against the latest forecasted results.</li><li>Prepare net debt/net cash calculation on a Monday every week.</li><li>Prepare consolidated cash flow reports and standalone reports for PLC and EMEA</li><li>Engage with regions for cash squeezes (happen at quarter end)</li><li>Review cash and move funds as required.</li><li>Manage the money market fund (daily overnight deposits) to maximise interest.</li><li>Approve payments on HSBC portal following review of invoices in PLC and EMEA</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful, temporary Management Accountant will be qualified (Eg. ACA or CPA) and have experience working in a manual environment.
