You will lead the financial processing and reporting teams while providing oversight of financial systems, treasury, governance and risk management, helping modernise the finance function through technology, automation and continuous improvement.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">Key Responsibilities</p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Lead and develop the financial processing and reporting teams, fostering a high-performance culture.</li><li>Deliver an efficient month-end close and ensure accurate, timely management and board reporting.</li><li>Provide meaningful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.</li><li>Partner with operational, commercial and senior leadership teams across the business.</li><li>Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and working capital across the Group.</li><li>Ensure robust financial controls, balance sheet integrity and compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Support statutory reporting, external audit and governance requirements.</li><li>Provide strategic oversight of financial systems, including continuous improvement, automation and reporting enhancements.</li><li>Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships and intercompany funding.</li><li>Lead risk management processes and support internal audit activities.</li><li>Play a key role in business transformation, M&A activity, acquisitions, integrations and group restructuring projects.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and data quality.</li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd">About You</p><ul data-spread="false"><li>ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualified experience.</li><li>Proven background in Financial Control, Group Reporting or a senior finance leadership role.</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge within a complex multi-entity environment.</li><li>Experience leading and developing finance teams.</li><li>Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Hands-on leader with a passion for improving processes, controls and systems.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Experience within a PE-backed, infrastructure, utilities, energy or similarly complex business would be advantageous.</li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd">Package</p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Basic salary of £90,000 - £100,000.</li><li>Generous annual bonus with an excellent long-term track record of paying out.</li><li>Hybrid working (2-3 days in the office).</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (full details available upon successful application).</li><li>Outstanding long-term career progression within a highly regarded and growing Group Finance function.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
