The role reports to the Finance Director and manages a team of three.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of three finance professionals, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and performing to a high standard.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial information in accordance with UK GAAP, company policies, and relevant external regulations.</li><li>Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all postings are completed and reconciliations are finalised in line with the close timetable.</li><li>Oversee company tax matters, including corporate tax computations, VAT, compliance, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Present financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and confident manner.</li><li>Continuously assess and improve finance processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for external audit activities and manage day-to-day relationships with external stakeholders.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Experience & Skills Required</strong></p><ul><li>Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).</li><li>Strong technical knowledge across financial reporting and corporate tax.</li><li>Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing a team.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.</li><li>Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communicator, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships across the business.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Apply Today</strong></p><p>To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button.
