Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the production of monthly accounts and deliver accurate reporting to tight deadlines</li><li>Manage statutory reporting, compliance submissions, tax packs, and audit processes</li><li>Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and governance frameworks</li><li>Identify risks and drive system and process improvements</li><li>Oversee key balance sheet reconciliations and working capital</li><li>Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, including cashflow forecasting</li><li>Review and approve payments, purchase orders, and credit applications</li><li>Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial and strategic decisions</li><li>Present financial updates to senior stakeholders</li><li>Lead, develop, and mentor a small finance team</li><li>Support the CFO with projects, initiatives, and ad‑hoc requests</li></ul> About You<ul><li>ACA/ACCA qualified (practice‑trained preferential, but not essential)</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102 essential; IFRS desirable)</li><li>Experience in audit, statutory reporting, and working to challenging deadlines</li><li>Strong analytical capability and exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team</li><li>Proactive, inquisitive, and motivated by continuous improvement</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders</li></ul> For more information, please call Paige on 01179 935 445.
