Responsibilities: • Lead payroll system testing activities to confirm calculations, workflows, and outputs are functioning as expected. • Review payroll data and results to identify discrepancies, validate accuracy, and recommend corrective actions where needed. • Create and maintain clear process documentation, reference materials, and records to support payroll operations and compliance. • Provide subject matter advice to stakeholders on payroll system usage, process improvement, and issue resolution. • Support Canadian payroll activities on a part-time basis, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are consistently met. • Assess payroll practices for a workforce of roughly 120 employees, with most team members in salaried roles, and help maintain reliable processing standards. • Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related questions, troubleshoot system concerns, and support ongoing optimization efforts. • Assist with payroll-related change activities, including validation and documentation connected to updates in systems or processes.
