In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead a team to achieve organizational goals. Your expertise will drive effective financial management and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p><p>• Prepare and manage consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards (4 operating companies and several other holding companies).</p><p>• Oversee month-end close processes, including journal entries and working papers for multiple entities.</p><p>• Monitor cash flow and manage treasury functions, including monthly draws for construction projects.</p><p>• Supervise and mentor accounting team members, supporting their growth and attention to detail.</p><p>• Review payroll, including payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.</p><p>• Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate job costing and financial reporting.</p><p>• Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting systems, as the company transitions from QBO to Sage Intacct.</p><p>• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.</p><p>• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting workflows.</p><p>• Coordinate with external auditors and accountants during year-end processes and audits.</p>

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and profitability through collaboration with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p><p>• Lead financial planning and analysis for the plant, including monthly reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.</p><p>• Evaluate manufacturing performance by analyzing production metrics, labour efficiency, yield, and material usage.</p><p>• Collaborate with plant management to identify opportunities for cost savings and support continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p>• Present comprehensive financial results to site and corporate leadership, translating financial information into informed insights and offering actionable recommendations.</p><p>• Maintain accurate standard costs and conduct regular cost reviews to align with operational realities.</p><p>• Oversee inventory accounting processes, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and analysis of obsolete materials.</p><p>• Manage budgeting efforts for the plant, working closely with operations and corporate finance teams.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements within all plant operations.</p><p>• Mentor and guide the plant finance team, encouraging attention to detail and high performance.</p>
