<p>Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 5 month contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&amp;A, the key responsibilities of the Financial Analyst will be:</p><p><br></p><p>• Discuss with the different cost centres regarding their operational expenses</p><p>• Support monthly financial performance reports as required</p><p>• Use Adaptive Planning to support the overall budget process</p><p>• Prepare PowerPoint slide decks for budget discussion with senior leaders </p><p>• Prepare Excel spreadsheets to do variance analysis using Office Connect </p><p>• Other ad hoc requests as required by the FP&amp;A team</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>The ideal candidate is a designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) or CFA with 3+ years of FP&amp;A experience. </p><p><br></p><p>You also have the following key skills and experience for the job:</p><p><br></p><p>• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience</p><p>• Experience with insurance or financial institutions would be an asset </p><p>• Experience using Adaptive Planning would be an asset</p><p>• Excellent listening and communication skills</p><p>• Excellent interpersonal skills</p><p>• Engaging and collaborative   </p><p>• Self-starter and can work very independently</p><p>• Curious and always looking for improvements</p><p>• Advanced Excel skills</p><p><br></p><p>If you are a qualified and experienced senior-level accounting or finance professional please submit your resume to Robert Half Management Resources today.
