The ERP Functional Business Analyst plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business processes and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system capabilities within Canadian organizations. This position focuses on deeply understanding business user needs, analyzing existing workflows, and translating these requirements into effective, configurable ERP solutions. They are crucial in optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring that the ERP system aligns seamlessly with business objectives, and providing essential support to end-users. This role demands strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to articulate complex functional concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Typical ERP functional business analyst duties:

Collaborate with business stakeholders across departments (finance, supply chain, HR, etc.) to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.Analyze existing workflows and data needs to define system requirements for the ERP implementation.Work with ERP consultants and developers to configure the system according to business needs.Develop and document user training materials and guides for the new ERP system.Conduct gap analysis to identify any discrepancies between business needs and ERP functionalities.Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets user requirements.Provide ongoing support to users after the ERP system is implemented.
