Cybersecurity Analysts in Canada play a vital role in protecting an organization's IT infrastructure and data from cyberattacks. They work to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to security incidents.

Typical cybersecurity analyst duties:

Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in IT systems and networks. Analyze security logs and events to detect suspicious activity and potential security breaches. Investigate security incidents according to established procedures, collecting and analyzing evidence. Implement and maintain security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
