Typical compliance officer duties:

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulations.Monitor changes in Canadian laws and regulations, updating internal policies as needed.Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.Investigate and document compliance issues, providing recommendations for corrective action.Act as a primary point of contact for employees' questions regarding compliance policies.Prepare reports on compliance activities and issues for senior management.Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities and training.
