Interim Fleet Transformation Lead
<p>For a large and fast-growing multi-site organisation in Flanders, we are looking for an experienced <strong>Interim Fleet Transformation Lead</strong> <strong>(m/f/x) </strong>to drive a critical business transformation initiative.</p><p>The company operates across dozens of locations, employs several thousand people and is currently evolving from a historically decentralised structure towards a more integrated and data-driven operating model.</p><p>As part of this journey, the organisation wants to professionalise its fleet management organisation, governance, data quality and decision-making capabilities while supporting the implementation of a new ERP platform.</p><p><strong>The Challenge</strong></p><p>The organisation operates a large fleet spread across multiple sites.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your Mission</strong></p><p>As <strong>Interim Fleet Transformation Lead</strong>, you will play a key role in helping the organisation gain a strategic, full visibility and control over its fleet operations while shaping a future-proof fleet management model.</p><p><strong>Assess, Structure &amp; Create Visibility</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current fleet landscape across all locations.</li><li>Establish a reliable inventory of the fleet, including asset condition, utilisation, lifecycle status and operational deployment.</li><li>Assess the quality, completeness and reliability of fleet-related data, systems and reporting.</li><li>Analyse existing fleet processes, governance structures and decision-making practices.</li><li>Identify operational inefficiencies, risks, data gaps and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Create a clear baseline of the current situation and define priorities for action.</li><li>Deliver actionable recommendations to improve fleet visibility, control and operational performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Design &amp; Implement the Future Fleet Operating Model</strong></p><ul><li>Define a future-proof fleet management strategy aligned with the organisation's growth ambitions.</li><li>Introduce industry best practices in fleet governance, lifecycle management and fleet optimisation.</li><li>Establish clear governance structures, roles, responsibilities and decision-making processes.</li><li>Create a sustainable "single source of truth" for fleet data, reporting and performance management.</li><li>Develop fleet KPIs, dashboards and management reporting frameworks.</li><li>Design lifecycle management, maintenance planning, replacement and investment frameworks.</li><li>Support the selection and implementation of the future ERP platform, ensuring alignment between business processes, data governance and technology.</li><li>Drive stakeholder alignment, change management and capability building across the organisation.</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership &amp;
