You will also ensure continuity of service desk backup, asset tracking, and compliance with internal processes.</p><p> </p><p>You will:</p><ul><li>Maintain and update records of all IT assets (hardware, software, mobile devices) in the CMDB (Halo ITSM).</li><li>Conduct physical audits and reconcile asset data with inventory records.</li><li>Ensure asset movements, assignments, and disposals are accurately logged.</li><li>Provide backup coverage for the IT Service Desk as rostered.</li><li>Manage the full procurement lifecycle for IT assets and services, including:</li><li>Liaising with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.</li><li>Raising purchase orders and coordinating approvals.</li><li>Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment.</li><li>Tracking contract renewals and service agreements.</li><li>Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and renewals in the CMDB.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal procurement and contract management guidelines.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies for asset handling, security, and disposal.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Skills &amp; Experience</span></strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Previous experience in IT asset management and IT support roles</li><li>Demonstrated experience with end-to-end procurement, vendor management, and contract renewals.</li><li>Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Apple iOS devices.</li><li>Familiarity with ITSM/CMDB tools (Halo, ServiceNow, Cherwell, etc.).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a busy office setting.</li></ul><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or MECM.</li><li>Exposure to procurement and vendor management in a regulated environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of ITIL or asset lifecycle best practices.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>You are immediately available, a quick thinker, highly adaptable and you have a natural flair for solving problems.
