This role supports the Finance Business Partner and collaborates closely with both the local business and finance teams to analyze financial performance, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help drive sustainable business growth.</li></ul><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze historical and current trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.</li><li>Identify risks, opportunities, and variances; deliver actionable insights to inform business decisions.</li><li>Prepare regular financial reports (weekly/monthly) for leadership review.</li><li>Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain teams to manage working capital, with a particular focus on inventory and purchasing.</li><li>Maintain and upload quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and related financial data.</li><li>Develop monthly marketing performance reports, validate accruals, and participate in marketing review meetings.</li><li>Support the accounting team during monthly financial close processes.</li><li>Contribute to the development of annual and multi-year financial plans aligned with strategic business goals.</li><li>Monitor and manage P&amp;L performance, including topline revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operational expenditures.</li><li>Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and analysis to support key business cases and investment decisions.</li><li>Evaluate and support the financial approval process for new store developments, including P&amp;L projections and CAPEX control.</li><li>Lead pre- and post-investment analysis for major marketing expenditures.</li><li>Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure targets are challenging yet attainable.</li><li>Build strong working relationships with brand, finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and timely support.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Skills </strong></p><ul><li>Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multinational environment.</li><li>Extensive experience in financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis.</li><li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.</li><li>Proficient in English (reading and writing).</li></ul><p>Preferred Experience:</p><ul><li>7+ years of finance experience, with at least 1-3 years in a similar analytical or business partnering role.</li><li>Experience with SAP or EPP systems is an advantage.</li><li>Personal interest in sports or outdoor activities is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Location </strong></p><p>Tokyo</p><p><strong>Salary</strong></p><p> 7 - 9 million yen</p><p> </p><p>Reference Number: 06940-0013246398</p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
