<p><strong>Company Profile</strong></p><p>A global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Japan</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Responsibilities within Global Digital Transformation (DX) Business Promotion Projects include:</p><ul><li>Developing a mid-term strategy aligned with organizational objectives.</li><li>Crafting a comprehensive three-year global business plan in collaboration with the Business Planning Team (Keiei-kikaku).</li><li>Analyzing and preparing detailed budgetary frameworks and supporting financial logic as part of the planning process.</li><li>Conducting variance analyses by comparing budgets with actual results and generating reports for the Business Planning Team.</li><li>Monitoring both tangible and intangible asset depreciation costs associated with DX projects.</li><li>Overseeing budget management for the ongoing implementation of the global SAP S/4 HANA project.</li><li>Engaging with individual business units to understand and analyze their DX-related budgets and financial needs.</li><li>Reviewing and enhancing the policy framework for large-scale investment approvals.</li><li>Managing the allocation and billing of group IT costs to subsidiaries while ensuring transparency.</li><li>Driving operational excellence by leading development initiatives and improvement projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in finance operations, including experience in budget preparation and management processes.</li><li>Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration and engagement with diverse internal stakeholders, such as the Business Planning Team (Keiei-kikaku), various business units, subsidiaries (including those overseas).</li><li>Preferred knowledge in digital transformation (DX) and IT-related frameworks/tools.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading a project, team, or organization-even on a smaller scale.</li><li>Willingness to work full-time on-site at the Nihonbashi Honmachi office, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements if needed.</li><li>Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, with conversational-level English as a requirement.</li></ul><p><strong>Hourly Salary</strong></p><p>6,000 yen - 7,200 yen</p><p><strong>Location</strong></p><p>Tokyo</p><p> </p><p>Reference Number: 06940-0013247240</p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
