<p><strong>Company Profile</strong></p><div>A leading Japanese life insurance company providing wealth management, retirement, and protection solutions.</div><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Key Responsibilities:<br />Within the Digital Transformation Office of the Corporate Technology Strategy Planning Function, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:<br />* Overall system planning activities<br />* Formulation, management, and advancement of medium-to-long-term strategies for the entire information systems landscape<br />* Leading DX and AI adoption initiatives through to implementation and embedding<br />* Research and evaluation of new technologies and trends in other companies' systems<br />* Collaboration with affiliated companies across the corporate group<br /><br />IT Strategy Planning<br />* Launching various projects based on the company's IT growth strategy plan<br />* Formulating IT strategy, managing execution status, and establishing governance frameworks<br />* Researching new technologies and trends in other companies' systems, and evaluating their applicability to our business<br />* Collecting and organizing input information for the next medium-term business plan<br /><br />DX Promotion<br />* Consistently driving DX initiatives utilizing digital technologies (business automation, digitalization of customer touchpoints, advanced decision-making, etc.) from planning through execution<br />* Embedding AI utilization (establishing rules for generative AI business use, planning PoCs, supporting company-wide rollout, etc.)<br />* Developing data infrastructure and analytics environments, and promoting operational sophistication through data utilization<br /><br />IT Architecture Management<br />* Establishing design review and governance mechanisms as part of IT architecture management, to prevent siloed or individually optimized solutions<br />Note: Scope of duties may change per company directive.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your Skills </strong></p><p>Required (industry newcomers welcome)<br />Candidates with experience in any of the following:</p><ul><li>PM / PL / PMO experience on projects</li><li>Basic knowledge of PMBOK</li><li>3+ years of experience in development, construction, or maintenance of applications or system infrastructure</li></ul><p>* Candidates without direct development/construction/maintenance experience may also qualify if they have consulting experience leveraging equivalent knowledge.</p><p>Preferred Experience & Skills</p><ul><li>Qualifications related to system auditing</li><li>Experience or knowledge of systems related to financial institutions</li><li>Experience responding to FSA (Financial Services Agency) inspections</li><li>Management experience</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Location </strong></p><p>Tokyo</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Salary</strong></p><p>12 million yen</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Reference Number: 06940-0013457813</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you are deemed to have agreed to Robert Half Japan Privacy Notice (</em><a href="https://www.roberthalf.com/jp/en/privacy"><em>https://www.roberthalf.com/jp/en/privacy</em></a><em>).
