  • <p>Robert Half is recruiting for a <strong>Finance Assistant</strong> to join a well-established <strong>not-for-profit organisation</strong> based in <strong>Leeds City Centre</strong> on a <strong>temp to perm</strong> basis.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience who is looking to join a supportive team and contribute to an organisation with a strong social purpose.</p><h3 id="key-responsibilities">Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Manage accounts payable processes, including logging invoices, resolving queries, and carrying out daily reconciliations</li><li>Maintain the purchase ledger, process invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and ensure supplier payments are made on time</li><li>Process manual payments and post direct debits</li><li>Support cash office duties, including collection of money where required</li><li>Prepare monthly petty cash reconciliations across three sites</li><li>Support accurate and timely cashing up through effective cross-department communication</li><li>Assist with weekly, monthly, and annual management information</li><li>Support audit preparation</li><li>Help process transactions accurately through to trial balance</li><li>Assist the Finance Manager with monthly management accounts, including <strong>purchase order accruals</strong> and <strong>prepayments</strong></li><li>Act as lead administrator for the finance inbox, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly</li><li>Provide cover for the Finance Business Partner when needed</li></ul><h3 id="about-you">About You:</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a finance or accounts role</li><li>Good working knowledge of purchase ledger/accounts payable</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Excellent organisation and communication skills</li><li>Able to work to deadlines and manage a varied workload</li></ul><h3 id="whats-on-offer">What's on Offer:</h3><ul><li>Salary circa <strong>£25,288 - £28,069</strong></li><li><strong>Temp to perm</strong> opportunity</li><li>Hybrid working</li><li><strong>Leeds City Centre</strong> location</li><li>Opportunity to work for a respected <strong>not-for-profit</strong> organisation</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
