You will act as a trusted partner to executive leadership, providing financial leadership, governance and insight to support strategic decision-making across the business.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As Finance Director, you will take ownership of financial leadership across a complex, international operating environment. <p>Robert Half are working in partnership with a high growth, private equity backed business in the Professional Services sector to recruit a Group Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This role will join an established and fast paced business, working closely with the executive leadership team to drive financial control, compliance and partner with non-finance areas.</p><p>This role would suit a Financial Controller or Head of Finance with great leadership experience to grow and develop a team of circa 10 and somebody with the desire to drive the business forward which in turn will carve out a future route to progression.</p><p>The Group Financial Controller position will offer a salary in the range of £100k to £120k plus package and great benefits. 1-2 days a week on site and commutable along the South West M4 Corridor.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include</strong></p><ul><li>Own the month end process including production of accounts and associated reporting</li><li>Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to board and PE house, providing insight for key decision making and strategy</li><li>Manage and review the consolidated balance sheet</li><li>Preparation of cash flow statements including budget vs actual and key performance metrics</li><li>Lead the year end audit process at entity and consolidated level</li><li>Responsibility for regulatory submissions</li><li>Preparation of statutory accounts at group level, work closely with the external auditors</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About your experience</strong></p><ul><li>Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)</li><li>Proven experience within Professional Services industry</li><li>Prior exposure to a multi-entity environment including consolidations</li><li>Ability to drive, develop and mentor a best in class finance function</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
