- <p><strong>Interim Finance Manager</strong><br /><strong>Predominantly Remote | Full-Time | Approx. 6-Month Contract</strong></p><p><strong>Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of our client</strong> for an experienced <strong>Interim Finance Manager</strong> to join a small but highly capable finance team on an initial <strong>6-month contract</strong>.</p><p>This is a key role with responsibility for <strong>monthly financial reporting</strong> and the <strong>day-to-day management of finance activity</strong> for the business unit. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director and collaborate across Operations, Support, Sales, and wider group finance teams in a fast-paced, growing environment. </p><h3 id="key-responsibilities">Key responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Support the Finance Director with financial reporting</li><li>Own monthly financial reporting</li><li>Manage VAT and other tax compliance for UK and Irish entities</li><li>Act as main contact for the external audit</li><li>Coordinate information for annual R&D claims</li><li>Oversee and sign off monthly payroll</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements</li></ul><h3 id="about-you">About you:</h3><ul><li>Qualified accountant or qualified by experience</li><li>Strong financial reporting and technical accounting awareness</li><li>Able to work both hands-on and strategically</li><li>Proactive and collaborative in approach</li><li>Strong IT skills, including process automation</li><li>Experience in a PE Backed business a huge advantage </li><li>Experience in a tech business would be ideal</li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for an <strong>interim assignment with predominantly remote working</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
