We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing international business on a 12 month fixed-term contract.This is a hands-on accounting role with a strong focus on process improvement, standardisation and automation. The business is investing in new operating models, AI and technology, and is looking for someone who can help make finance processes more efficient and scalable.You'll be responsible for a portfolio of UK and international entities, supporting month-end and group accounting while identifying and implementing improvements.Salary: £50k-£65k. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li>Management and subsidiary accounting across multiple entities.</li><li>Month-end journals, P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Bank reconciliations and financial reporting.</li><li>Working with AP/AR teams and local accountants.</li><li>Supporting VAT, statutory and tax requests.</li><li>Assisting with financial statements and FX hedging.</li><li>Identifying opportunities to standardise and automate finance processes.</li><li>Supporting the use of AI, Power BI and other technology to improve reporting and workflows.</li><li>Providing support to the Finance Manager and wider finance leadership team.</li></ul><h3>About You</h3>We're looking for a qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid management accounting and multi-entity experience.You'll ideally have:<ul data-spread="false"><li>Strong month-end accounting experience.</li><li>Experience with P&L, balance sheets, reconciliations and journals.</li><li>A proactive, improvement-focused mindset.</li><li>The confidence to challenge inefficient processes and suggest better ways of working.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a high standard of delivery.</li><li>An interest in AI, automation and technology.</li><li>Power BI or strong excel experience would be advantageous.</li></ul>This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant or someone around 2 years post-qualified who wants to combine core accounting with finance transformation and process improvement.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
