The Finance Assistant will receive a salary up to £35,000 along with other attractive benefits!This role offers 1 day per week hybrid working - 4 days a week working in the office. Primary responsibilities; <ul><li>Prepare and post accruals, prepayments and journal entries.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end processes, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.</li><li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.</li><li>Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.</li><li>Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.</li><li>Process purchase and sales ledger transactions as required.</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.</li><li>Respond to internal and external finance queries in a timely manner.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures.</li></ul> Key experience and attributes; <ul><li>Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role.</li><li>Good understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, prepayments and journals.</li><li>Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.</li><li>A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
