- <p><strong>Company</strong></p><p>This well-established architecture business is looking to hire a <strong>Finance Manager based in Dubai</strong> as part of its continued growth plans.</p><p>The company has a strong presence across multiple countries and is looking for an experienced finance professional who can add value to the finance function while also supporting the wider business.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Finance Director, based in London, you will manage a team of four and take ownership of the month-end close process.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Managing month-end closing, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany accounting</li><li>Analysing and explaining movements against forecast</li><li>Preparing management accounts and statutory accounts</li><li>Managing corporate tax and VAT</li><li>Driving finance system enhancements and process improvements</li><li>Supporting the wider business with financial insight and analysis</li><li>Managing and developing a team of 4</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The successful candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy will be ACA/ACCA/ACCA qualified with a few years of work experience in industry.</p><p>A 'can-do' attitude is required as well as experience within an international business. - <p>Robert Half has partnered with a market-leading Financial Services organisation to recruit a Full Stack Engineer for an initial 6 months. London based - 3 days per week onsite </p><p class="isSelectedEnd">We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to take an established Corporate Governance platform prototype through final development, testing and into production.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">The platform modernises an existing ASP.NET/on-premises SQL application and is now built using React, Node.js, TypeScript, Azure SQL and Azure Web Apps, within a Microsoft 365 environment.</p><p>A strong prototype has already been developed, providing the baseline for the next phase. The successful candidate will take ownership of turning this into a robust, scalable and production-ready application.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Take the existing prototype through development, testing and production.</li><li>Work across React, Node.js, TypeScript and Azure SQL.</li><li>Improve the data model and database architecture, addressing current limitations and manual processes.</li><li>Develop a more effective and maintainable front end.</li><li>Work closely with the Corporate Governance team and senior stakeholders to understand requirements, demonstrate functionality and rapidly iterate.</li><li>Challenge and validate existing approaches and independently debug and solve technical issues.</li><li>Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery.</li><li>Help shape the future evolution of the platform, including potential AI/LLM and semantic search capabilities.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Skills & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>The Full Stack Engineer will have strong SQL Server / Azure SQL, including database design, data modelling, queries, performance and data integrity.</li><li>Strong React, Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript experience.</li><li>Experience with Azure Web Apps and taking applications through to production.</li><li>Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, with the ability to independently understand, challenge, debug and improve an existing solution.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder-facing and communication skills, with experience translating business requirements into working software.</li><li>Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.</li></ul><p><strong>Organisation:</strong></p><ul><li>Initial 6-month contract</li><li>Outside IR35</li><li>Hybrid working | 3 days per week in Central London</li></ul><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
