<p data-end="888" data-start="400">At Robert Half, we are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to work within a shared service centre based in Liverpool.</p><p data-end="888" data-start="400">This is a hands on leadership role, requiring strong management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills. </p><p data-end="888" data-start="400">3-6 months interim assignment. </p><p data-start="400" data-end="888"><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Shared Service Centre team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.</li><li>Oversee delivery of all transactional finance processes (AP, AR, etc) ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.</li><li>Act as primary escalation point for service delivery issues, driving resolution and process improvement.</li><li>Review of monthly reconciliations.</li><li>Review of payment runs, and processing.</li><li>Develop and monitor KPIs/SLAs to ensure the SSC operates effectively and meets business needs.</li><li>Partner with the wider finance function and senior stakeholders to align SSC priorities with business objectives.</li><li>Prepare and present management reports, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven track record in managing finance teams within a Shared Service Centre or large transactional environment.</li><li>Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast paced setting.</li><li>Experience of driving process improvements, system enhancements, and change management.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. You'll be working closely with an outstanding CFO who is passionate about mentoring and developing talent.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of the month-end process, management reporting, and day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities. You'll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement within the finance function while providing insight and support to senior stakeholders across the business.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the month-end close process, delivering accurate and timely management accounts.</li><li>Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and multi-entity consolidations.</li><li>Oversee invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and audit coordination.</li><li>Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency.</li><li>Support compliance and statutory reporting across UK and international entities.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)</li><li>Strong technical accounting skills and confident managing the full month-end process.</li><li>Experienced in management reporting, audit preparation, and financial systems (NetSuite advantageous).</li><li>Nice to have: professional services or consultancy based background</li><li>Nice to have: SME background</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable.
