Robert Half Finance and Accounting are exclusively partnering with a leading Management Consultancy in London who are looking to recruit an immediate, qualified interim Financial Controller for 6-9 months.Role:Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, qualified Financial Controller for a 6 month contract and as part of this role you will be responsible for the following duties:<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four </li><li>Oversee the daily operations of AP, AR, and Payroll functions across multiple regions.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and compliance with internal controls. Revenue Reporting & Forecasting</li><li>Oversee the preparation and analysis of revenue reporting.</li><li>Collaborate with client management alongside our business performance analyst to forecast revenue and identify variances. Balance Sheet Management</li><li>Oversee the team to maintain and reconcile the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Support month-end and year-end close processes. Compliance & Controls</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.</li><li>Support external auditors with timely and accurate information.</li><li>Ensure tax compliance across regions. Monthly reporting</li><li>Lead the preparation and delivery of the monthly financial reporting pack for the board, including variance analysis and key performance indicators.</li><li>Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.</li><li>Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial statements.</li><li>Provide insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial results.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. </li></ul>Profile:The ideal candidate for this interim Financial Controller role will be a qualified accountant CA, ACA or ACCA who has proven experience in financial controls.
