Working across business stakeholders, engineering teams and programme leadership, you will play a key role in driving delivery across multiple software development teams, translating business requirements into technology solutions and ensuring successful execution of strategic change initiatives.</p><p><strong>Assignment Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Technical Business Analyst (Financial Services)</li><li>📍 Birmingham City Centre (5 Days Per Week Onsite)</li><li>💷 <strong>£450/day PAYE + 12.07% Holiday Pay Accrual (Equivalent to c.£504/day Total Compensation)</strong></li><li>📄 Initial <strong>8 Month Contract</strong> until end of<strong> June 2027</strong></li><li>🚀 Immediate Start: c.1-2 weeks onboarding turnaround</li><li>🏦 Financial Services/Banking Programme</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead delivery activities across various software development teams.</li><li>Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.</li><li>Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across Business Management, Operations, Trading, Compliance and Technology.</li><li>Create business process maps, workflow diagrams and architecture diagrams reflecting technology solutions.</li><li>Work closely with Developers, Architects and Engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.</li><li>Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and escalation paths.</li><li>Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management and business sign-off activities.</li><li>Act as the bridge between business and technology teams to ensure successful programme delivery.</li><li>Support Agile delivery teams and provide proactive governance reporting.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Experience</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within large-scale software delivery programmes.</strong></li><li><strong>Financial Services experience, ideally within Banking environments.</strong></li><li>Experience working across multiple software engineering or development teams.</li><li>Strong understanding of software development, system design and architecture principles.</li><li>Ability to understand and produce architecture diagrams, process flows and business process maps.</li><li>Experience working closely with Developers, Architects and Technical Leads.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology functions.</li><li>Experience leading UAT planning, execution and defect resolution activities.</li><li>Proven risk identification, issue management and escalation experience.</li><li>Understanding of software development lifecycles and technology delivery methodologies.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Asset & Wealth Management experience.</li><li>Exposure to Front Office, Trading or Operations functions.</li><li>Knowledge of complex financial products, including derivatives.</li><li>Experience working within large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.</li><li>Agile, Scrum or SAFe delivery experience.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Please note that, if successful, you will be required to provide employment references covering the previous five years.
