<h3 data-start="113" data-end="157"><strong data-end="155" data-start="117">Interim Group Financial Controller</strong></h3><p data-end="235" data-start="158">📍 <strong data-end="183" data-start="161">Edinburgh (Hybrid)</strong><br / data-start="183" data-end="186"> ⏳ <strong data-start="188" data-end="208">6-month contract</strong><br / data-start="208" data-end="211"> 💷 <strong data-start="214" data-end="235">£450-£550 per day</strong></p><p data-start="237" data-end="412">We are currently working with a client in <strong data-start="279" data-end="292">Edinburgh</strong> who is seeking an experienced <strong data-end="361" data-start="323">Interim Group Financial Controller</strong> to support the business over a <strong data-end="411" data-start="393">6-month period</strong>.</p><p data-end="558" data-start="414">This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting, group reporting, and leadership capability within a complex organisation.</p><br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br><ul data-start="591" data-end="986"><li data-end="665" data-start="591"><p data-end="665" data-start="593">Lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end processes</p></li><li data-start="666" data-end="744"><p data-start="668" data-end="744">Oversee statutory accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards</p></li><li data-start="745" data-end="790"><p data-end="790" data-start="747">Manage and develop the group finance team</p></li><li data-start="791" data-end="870"><p data-start="793" data-end="870">Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge</p></li><li data-end="941" data-start="871"><p data-start="873" data-end="941">Support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives</p></li><li data-end="986" data-start="942"><p data-end="986" data-start="944">Liaise with auditors and external advisors</p></li></ul><br><br>Candidate Profile:<br><br><ul data-end="1330" data-start="1016"><li data-end="1060" data-start="1016"><p data-start="1018" data-end="1060">Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)</p></li><li data-start="1061" data-end="1149"><p data-end="1149" data-start="1063">Proven experience in a <strong data-end="1116" data-start="1086">Group Financial Controller</strong> or similar senior finance role</p></li><li data-end="1210" data-start="1150"><p data-start="1152" data-end="1210">Strong technical accounting and consolidation experience</p></li><li data-start="1211" data-end="1273"><p data-start="1213" data-end="1273">Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, interim environment</p></li><li data-start="1274" data-end="1330"><p data-end="1330" data-start="1276">Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills</p></li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
