With further growth planned, an opportunity has arisen for a Group Finance Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. </p><p>The Group Finance Manager is a pivotal role responsible for managing the monthly consolidation of financial information across the organisation. This position ensures that financial data is consolidated accurately and on time, while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet accounting and reporting requirements. The Group Finance Manager is instrumental in delivering a comprehensive, consolidated perspective of the organisation's financial performance.</p><p>Reporting into the Head of Internal Reporting, duties include: </p><ul><li>Manage the end-to-end consolidation process, including collecting, validating and consolidating financial data from reporting units.</li><li>Manage the consolidation of financials close, special accounting periods, i.e. year-end, and effectively control the forex rates in the system</li><li>Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accurate elimination and consolidation of intercompany balances and transactions</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, address audit queries, and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve the consolidation process, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy</li><li>Develop and ensure compliance with internal controls in the consolidation process</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in management accounting, compliance, audit management and financial modelling while effectively managing stakeholder relationships, driving transformation initiatives and leveraging finance systems knowledge. </p><p>YOU: </p><ul><li>Qualified accountant available to start immediately </li><li>Group reporting and consolidation experience</li><li>Excellent influence and stakeholder management skills </li></ul><p>You will be joining a friendly & energetic team where you will have direct exposure to the CFO and Group FD.
