The role is being introduced on an interim basis to support continued growth, with the intention of assessing the long-term need for the position. As a result, there is genuine potential for the contract to be extended or converted into a permanent role.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts process while supporting a range of ongoing finance and business improvement projects.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li>Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts</li><li>Lead month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments</li><li>Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances</li><li>Produce insightful financial analysis and management reporting</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting</li><li>Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and challenge</li><li>Contribute to ongoing finance projects and process improvement initiatives</li><li>Assist with the continued development of the finance function as the business grows</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li><strong>Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)</strong></li><li>Previous experience producing full management accounts within a commercial environment</li><li>Strong month-end accounting experience</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems</li><li><strong>Experience using Xero would be advantageous, although not essential</strong></li><li>Available to start immediately or at short notice</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
