  • <h1>Group Tax Analyst - Interim Contract</h1><p><strong>Location:</strong> Bracknell, Berkshire<br /><strong>Rate:</strong> £400 per day<br /><strong>Working Pattern:</strong> Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote<br /><strong>Contract:</strong> Initial 3 months, with potential to extend to 6 months<br /><strong>Start:</strong> ASAP</p><h2>The Opportunity</h2><p>We are seeking an experienced Group Tax Analyst to join a high-performing Group Finance function on an initial 3-month interim contract, with potential for extension.</p><p>This is a key role providing cover within the Group Tax function, working closely with the Group Head of Tax and wider Finance teams across the UK and Europe.</p><p>The successful candidate will need to be able to hit the ground running, take ownership of key tax accounting and reporting activities, and provide immediate support across a broad range of UK and international tax matters.</p><p>This would suit an experienced Corporate Tax / Tax Accounting professional with previous in-house experience who is comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Support UK corporate tax compliance and reporting activities.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and support monthly, quarterly and year-end tax reporting.</p></li><li><p>Prepare tax disclosures for statutory accounts and management reporting.</p></li><li><p>Assist with corporate tax budgeting and forecasting.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and calculate management fees and support associated tax considerations.</p></li><li><p>Assist with transfer pricing projects, documentation and implementation.</p></li><li><p>Support Employment Related Securities (ERS) returns.</p></li><li><p>Undertake CFC analysis and support international tax activities.</p></li><li><p>Manage and support UK corporation tax quarterly instalment payments.</p></li><li><p>Support US quarterly corporate tax reporting.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Finance teams across the UK and Europe on corporate tax matters.</p></li><li><p>Provide support and analysis on international taxation issues, including transfer pricing.</p></li><li><p>Support tax activities relating to acquisitions, business transfers and wider transformation projects.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) across the European group.</p></li><li><p>Provide support across VAT and employment tax matters where required.</p></li><li><p>Assist the Group Head of Tax with ad hoc tax projects and strategic initiatives.</p></li></ul><h2>About You</h2><p>We are looking for someone who can quickly understand an existing tax environment and become a valuable member of the team.</p><p>You will ideally have:</p><ul><li><p>Strong experience in <strong>UK corporate tax</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Previous <strong>in-house / industry experience</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong tax accounting and reporting experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience across international tax matters.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to <strong>transfer pricing, CFC and/or CbCR</strong>.</p></li><li><p>ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification.</p></li><li><p>Excellent analytical and numerical skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>A proactive, commercially minded approach.</p></li><li><p>The ability to work independently and make an immediate contribution.</p></li></ul><p>Experience with <strong>ONESOURCE Corporate Tax and/or BPC</strong> would be advantageous.</p><h2>What's on Offer</h2><ul><li><p>£400 per day</p></li><li><p>Initial 3-month contract, with potential to extend to 6 months</p></li><li><p>Hybrid working - 2 days per week in Bracknell, 3 days remotely</p></li><li><p>Immediate / ASAP start</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to work closely with the Group Head of Tax</p></li><li><p>Broad exposure to UK and international corporate tax</p></li><li><p>High-impact interim assignment within an established Group Finance function</p></li></ul><p><strong>If you are an experienced corporate tax professional who can hit the ground running and is available at short notice, we'd be keen to hear from you.</strong></p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
