  • <p>Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a <strong>rapidly growing</strong> organisation based in Harwell to recruit a <strong>Payroll Analyst</strong>. The Payroll Analyst will receive a salary between <strong>£45,000-£60,000</strong> (potentially negotiable) along with other attractive benefits including <strong>hybrid remote working</strong>, a bonus and equity!</p><p> </p><p><strong>Primary responsibilities; </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Manage the administration and processing of the company's monthly UK payroll and designated international payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.</li><li>Administer day-to-day employee benefits programmes and provide support for ongoing benefit plan operations.</li><li>Maintain a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, taxation, employment law and relevant HR regulations, ensuring continued compliance.</li><li>Prepare year-end payroll reporting and statutory submissions.</li><li>Support SOX compliance, internal controls and audit requirements.</li><li>Participate in payroll system implementations, enhancements and reporting optimisation initiatives.</li><li>Coordinate annual payroll changes including bonuses, salary reviews, promotions and market adjustments.</li><li>Partner with Finance on budgeting, invoicing, accounting activities and other cross-functional initiatives.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, including the use of automation and artificial intelligence to drive efficiency and improve the employee experience.</li><li>Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.</li><li>Process tax withholdings relating to employee equity plans in partnership with the equity administration team.</li><li>Provide payroll support and act as back-up for US and other international payrolls when required.</li><li>Contribute to wider Global Rewards initiatives, supporting organisational growth and continuous improvement across payroll and benefits.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key experience and attributes; </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>A minimum of five years' payroll experience,</li><li>Proven UK payroll experience (essential), with exposure to global payrolls</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, taxation and employment regulations.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.</li><li>Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>The resilience and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple competing deadlines.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
