- <p>Robert Half has partnered with a scale up business in Portsmouth to recruit for an AWS Engineer to join a fast growing team. This is a permanent role paying up to £75,000 (DOE). This is predominantly a remote role but would require candidates who have a driving license and can get to the data centre as necessary.</p><p>You will be responsible for helping the business optimise their AWS environment through continuous improvement and automation, supporting the business to scale up their infrastructure services to align with business growth. </p><p>This is ideal for an experienced Cloud Engineer with AWS experience looking for autonomy to shape and build their own AWS environment. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Deliver best practice within the AWS environment </li><li>Manage and maintain a hybrid environment of AWS, Azure and on-premise platforms </li><li>Design and implement security protocols</li><li>Lead on AWS related projects to optimise infrastructure </li><li>AWS systems administration</li></ul><p><strong>About You: </strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in cloud engineering - AWS</li><li>Strong understanding in Docker container and networking principles </li><li>Good understanding of on-premise and hybrid environments</li><li>Previous experience in AWS cloud migration </li></ul><p>Paying up to £75,000 with a remote first culture.
