<p>Robert Half are working with a Portsmouth based organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Manager for up to 3 months.</p><p>Based on site in the Porstmouth area.</p><p>CIMA/ACCA or QBE.</p><p>As Finance Manager you will strengthen month-end, statutory and compliance accounting processes, ensuring that financial reporting, reconciliations and regulatory returns are completed accurately and on time.</p><p>Key responsibilities</p><p>* Support and deliver month-end close processes and reporting timetables.</p><p>* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.</p><p>* Record and reconcile daily income and deferred income balances.</p><p>* Prepare and submit VAT returns, including Capital Goods Scheme (CGS) tracking and adjustments, and review VAT journals.</p><p>* Apply UK Charities SORP accounting requirements for the Trust and UK GAAP (FRS 102) requirements for the subsidiary.</p><p>* Support implementation and ongoing compliance with the revised FRS 102 lease accounting requirements (Section 20).</p><p>* Reconcile the fixed asset register to the balance sheet.</p><p> </p><p>* Prepare customer invoices and support credit control processes where required.</p><p> </p><p>* Work collaboratively with the finance team, senior leadership team and other departments across the organisation.</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
