This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused individual to play a key role in the maintenance and administration of pricing data across multiple systems and product categories.Working within a fast-paced commercial environment, the successful candidate will support the business with pricing accuracy, reporting and administration, while working closely with sales, finance and operational teams across the organisation.The RoleReporting into the Data & Insights function, you will take responsibility for the administration and maintenance of pricing information across internal and customer-facing systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficient processing of pricing-related activity.Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Creating and maintaining master pricing files across multiple brands and product categories</li><li>Managing pricing set-up and updates within the ERP system</li><li>Supporting the implementation of price increases and pricing amendments</li><li>Maintaining pricing within CRM and product management platforms</li><li>Processing customer terms amendments and promotional pricing activity</li><li>Generating pricing reports and analysis for internal stakeholders</li><li>Creating and maintaining order forms and pricing documentation</li><li>Supporting accounts receivable and sales teams with invoice and pricing queries</li><li>Managing order price changes and updates</li></ul>Responding to internal support tickets and pricing-related requests<ul><li>Assisting with rebate administration and reporting</li><li>Supporting wider departmental administration and ad hoc projects</li></ul>About YouThis role will suit a proactive and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working with data and systems in a collaborative business environment. Robert Half Technology are assisting a leading telecommunications business to recruit a Senior Data Platform Engineer on a contract basis. Hybrid working - 2 days on-site in Hampshire every other week.Role* The Senior Data Platform Engineer will take ownership of the end-to-end production data platform, including ingestion, orchestration, infrastructure, and observability. * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines across CRM, ERP, and billing systems. * Lead platform readiness activities ahead of a critical NetSuite cutover and provide support during hypercare phases. * Build and maintain integrations across Salesforce / Ability (CRM), NetSuite / Sage X3 (ERP), and Billing / BSS platforms. * Implement and manage Reverse ETL workflows using Hightouch. * Manage supplier data ingestion through SFTP and cloud-based services. * Ensure strong monitoring, alerting, platform reliability, and operational excellence. * Take ownership of a core engineering workstream and drive delivery through to completion. * Produce high-quality technical documentation and support BAU handover activities. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and project teams to deliver key programme objectives.Profile* The Senior Data Platform Engineer will have 8+ years of Data Engineering experience within complex enterprise environments. * Strong experience with cloud data warehouse technologies, ideally BigQuery, although Snowflake and Redshift experience will also be considered. * Hands-on experience with GCP technologies including BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, and Cloud Functions. * Strong Python development experience alongside modern data integration tools such as Fivetran. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tooling, including Terraform and GitHub Actions. * Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling such as Cloud Monitoring and PagerDuty. * Proven experience integrating CRM, ERP, and Billing/BSS systems. * Experience delivering critical cutover and hypercare phases within large-scale transformation programmes is essential. * Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor and own key technical workstreams. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.Company* Leading telecommunications business undergoing a major data transformation programme. * Opportunity to play a key role in delivering a production-ready data platform ahead of a critical business systems transformation. * Hybrid working model with 2 days on-site in Hampshire every other week.Salary & BenefitsThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
