The Part Time Accountant will receive a full equivalent salary of <strong>£45,000</strong> (£27,000 take home after pro rata) plus additional benefits including <strong>mostly remote working</strong> - you will only need to go into the office 1 day per week!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Primary responsibilities; </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li> Prepare monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller.</li><li>Analyse sales performance and provide insightful reporting.</li><li>Prepare and maintain stock reports, ensuring inventory values are accurate.</li><li>Process and reconcile monthly accruals and prepayments.</li><li>Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations and asset reconciliations.</li><li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key experience and attributes; </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.</li><li>Experience preparing management accounts.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Good understanding of accruals, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>A professional, reliable and collaborative approach.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
