  • <p> </p><p>Robert Half are currently recruiting for a <strong>fully qualified Senior Auditor</strong> to join an established <strong>accountancy practice firm</strong> on a <strong>3-month contract</strong>, supporting with <strong>year-end audits</strong> for a portfolio of <strong>clients</strong>.</p><p>Based in <strong>central Barnsley</strong>, this role will be <strong>working from the clients' offices</strong>, so we are looking for someone who is confident operating in a client-facing environment and able to make an immediate impact.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and deliver <strong>year-end audits</strong> for a range of businesses</li><li>Plan, conduct and complete audit fieldwork efficiently and accurately</li><li>Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards</li><li>Work closely with clients on-site, building strong and professional relationships</li><li>Identify audit risks, prepare findings and report back to senior stakeholders</li><li>Support and guide junior team members where required</li></ul><p><strong>Key requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Fully qualified accountant</strong> (<strong>ACA / ACCA</strong> or equivalent)</li><li>Proven experience as a <strong>Senior Auditor</strong> within an <strong>accountancy practice</strong></li><li>Strong background in <strong>year-end audits</strong> for external <strong>clients</strong></li><li>Comfortable working <strong>on-site in client offices</strong></li><li>Able to work independently, manage deadlines and handle a busy workload</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li></ul><p><strong>Contract details:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>3-month contract</strong></li><li>Based in <strong>central Barnsley</strong></li><li><strong>On-site in clients' offices</strong></li><li>Immediate start preferred</li></ul><p>This is a great opportunity for an experienced <strong>Senior Auditor</strong> who enjoys working directly with clients and is available for a short-term assignment in a busy practice environment.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
