  • <p></p><p>We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, growing business on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and providing meaningful financial insight to support business performance.</p><p>Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of the management accounts process, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across financial reporting and controls.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary.</li><li>Production of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports.</li><li>Month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments and journals.</li><li>Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances.</li><li>Support budget and forecasting processes across multiple departments.</li><li>Analyse financial performance and provide insight to senior stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor key business metrics, profitability and margin performance.</li><li>Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.</li><li>Partner with operational teams to support decision-making and cost control.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.</li><li>Support year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.</li><li>Assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis and finance projects.</li></ul><h2>About You</h2><ul><li>Part-qualified, studying, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).</li><li>Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.</li><li>Strong month-end and management accounts experience.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.</li><li>Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.</li></ul><h2>Desirable</h2><ul><li>Experience of working within a high-volume transactional environment.</li><li>Exposure to stock, inventory or product-based businesses.</li><li>Experience using ERP systems and BI reporting tools.</li><li>Previous involvement in process improvement initiatives</li></ul><br><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
