As part of a highly successful global group, this is a key leadership role with full ownership of the UK P&L. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving UK performance, delivering robust financial control, and providing meaningful commercial insight to influence decision-making across the business. Financial Controller - Statutory Accounts & Group Consolidation (Manchester, Hybrid) | £75,000We're working exclusively with a growing group business based in Manchester to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a senior, technically-focused role reporting to the CFO, with real ownership of the group's statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance across multiple territories.You'll lead the preparation of statutory accounts for the UK entities and the group consolidated accounts, covering the full suite: P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statement, SOCIE and supporting notes. You'll also manage the audit relationship end-to-end, both with the group auditors and local audit firms overseas, and take responsibility for getting all local statutory filings delivered on time.On the tax side, you'll prepare and sign off corporation tax packs, handle queries from the tax advisors, and oversee filings across other tax areas such as VAT, sales tax, payroll taxes and CIS.
