- <p><strong>Company</strong></p><p>This is a rapidly growing marketing research business based in central London. They use various research methods and technology to evaluate campaign performance for multiple brands globally.</p><p>Due to continued year-on-year growth, they are looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join their close-knit finance department.</p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>Reporting into the Finance Director, the Assistant Management Accountant will support on regular transactional duties (AP & AR) whilst assisting with month-end procedures.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li data-end="228" data-start="101">Support month-end processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations, with increasing responsibility over time</li><li data-start="328" data-end="427">Maintain key Excel models and produce regular AR and AP reports to support cash flow management</li><li data-start="428" data-end="521">Provide ad hoc analysis and support finance queries from stakeholders across the business</li><li data-end="638" data-start="522">Take ownership of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, credit control, and aged debt management</li><li data-start="522" data-end="638">Assist with the production of monthly management accounts</li><li data-end="745" data-start="639">Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate coding and preparing payment runs for approval</li><li data-start="746" data-end="836">Oversee the shared finance inbox and resolve supplier and customer queries efficiently</li><li data-start="837" data-end="917">Own bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records within Xero</li><li data-end="1031" data-start="918">Drive improvements to finance processes, controls, and system workflows to increase efficiency and automation</li><li data-start="1032" data-end="1116">Document processes and support the continued development of the finance function</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Assistant Management Accountant position, should have the following:</p><ul><li>2/3+ years of experience within a similar finance capacity owning Accounts Payable & Receivable processes.</li><li>Experience in supporting month-end procedures.</li><li>Experience with Xero.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Evidence of streamlining and improving processes, ideally within a small business background.</li><li>Early-stage studier or part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).</li></ul><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p>£35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits:</p><ul><li>Hybrid working structure - 2 days in office</li><li>Discretionary bonus</li><li>Study support package</li><li>Regular company socials</li><li>Healthcare scheme</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>In-house training programmes and more.</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
