Please find a brief outline of the role below:</p><ul><li>Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet analyses for group entities, including overseas subsidiaries.</li><li>Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reviews, including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and inventory.</li><li>Support with monthly consolidated Group report, including management accounts commentary and analysis</li><li>Perform client money bank reconciliations across systems</li><li>Analyse monthly fee revenue, ensuring correct split between UK and EU acquiring entities.</li><li>Prepare and submit annual and quarterly FCA returns.</li><li>Assist in preparing Group Consolidated Financial Statements under IFRS, including notes and disclosures.</li><li>Support external audits and FCA safeguarding audits.</li><li>Prepare IFRS-related workings</li><li>Coordinate with local accountants to prepare international subsidiary accounts.</li><li>Key role in upcoming system implementation</li><li>Prepare bespoke analyses and reports for senior management.</li><li>Support automation initiatives and participate in finance process redesign projects.</li><li>Coordinate with tax advisors on corporation tax, VAT, and transfer pricing compliance.</li><li>Ensuring the internal controls and processes remain fit for purpose, driving change where required</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The Financial Controller for this Fintech/payment firm is ideally for the below</p><ul><li>An Audit Trained Accountant</li><li>At least 2 years' post qualification experience working in a similar role</li><li>Strong Experience with IFRS, Month end closing and Consolidations</li><li>Nice to have experience with Sage Intact</li></ul><p><strong>Company</strong></p><p>The Financial Controller will report into a hugely impressive Head of Finance who you will very closely on the day-to-day operations.
