  • <h2>Temporary Accounts Payable &amp; Finance Assistant</h2><p class="isSelectedEnd">Summertown, Oxford | 20-24 hours per week | Temporary, initially 3 months with potential to extend or become permanent | Hybrid</p><ul><li>£32,000 - £34,000 (FTE)</li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd">Robert Half Ltd are working with an organisation based in Summertown that are looking for an Accounts Payable &amp; Finance Assistant to join the team. You will provide support across the finance function, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger.</p><h3>Key responsibilities</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li>Managing the AP inbox and processing, coding and authorising invoices.</li><li>Reviewing supplier statements and resolving queries.</li><li>Preparing supplier payment runs and issuing remittances.</li><li>Raising purchase orders and processing prepayments.</li><li>Liaising with suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve outstanding queries.</li><li>Supporting the Fees Ledger and school fee administration.</li><li>Assisting with reconciliations, journals, budgets, management accounts and audit preparation.</li><li>Supporting petty cash and general finance administration.</li></ul><h3>About you</h3><p class="isSelectedEnd">You will have strong Accounts Payable experience and a proactive, organised and methodical approach. You'll be confident managing a busy workload, meeting deadlines and following up on outstanding actions.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a school, charity or similar not-for-profit organisation, although this is not essential.</strong></p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
