- <h1> </h1><p>Financial Controller - Manchester</p><p>Location: Manchester<br /><br /></p><p>We are partnering with a successful international business to appoint a Financial Controller to join its Manchester-based finance team.</p><p>Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of group financial reporting, statutory accounts, consolidation, audit and tax compliance across a number of UK and international entities. You will also lead and develop the financial accounts team and support the wider business with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.</p><p>Key responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Prepare UK statutory and consolidated group accounts.</p></li><li><p>Manage UK and international audit processes and statutory deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Oversee corporation tax, VAT and other tax compliance.</p></li><li><p>Manage group consolidation, intercompany balances and FX accounting.</p></li><li><p>Support budgeting and forecasting with the CFO.</p></li><li><p>Develop and improve finance processes, systems and controls.</p></li><li><p>Lead, mentor and develop the financial accounts team.</p></li><li><p>Provide financial analysis and support ad hoc projects.</p></li></ul><p>About you:</p><ul><li><p>ACA or ACCA qualified.</p></li><li><p>Strong statutory accounts and financial control experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience with group consolidation and intercompany accounting.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of taxation and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with UK and international auditors/advisers.</p></li><li><p>Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables.</p></li><li><p>Commercial, detail-oriented and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>A proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working.</p></li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for a broad Financial Controller role with significant exposure to international finance, senior leadership and process improvement.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
